The Literature Competitions

Here is the main page of the literature competitions created by Shosocial for writers and lovers of the power and art of the word. We organize these competitions with the aim of finding talent, collecting good works of literature, and showing this art to the world.

In this way, we see our mission as not only helping gifted writers become famous people, but also exposing this art to readers through our collection of modern literature, which will be presented in the literature section of our encyclopaedia.

You will find all the rights, rules, and necessary information regarding participation, evaluation, publication, and prizes for the competition just below.

For the Writer and the Lover of the Power of the Word

If you are a creator, then you are a deeply imaginative individual who possesses insights to share with the world—ideas, suggestions, and concepts that have the potential to enrich humanity.

The world will reward you if you approach it with all your gifts, love, and sincerity.

Certainly, professionalism and a command of established literary rules, essay structures, and poetic forms are beneficial.

However, even if you lack this formal knowledge, your efforts may still bring success.

If your artistic vision is sufficiently bright and extraordinary, the concepts within your work can establish a new approach, adding fresh standards to the vast ocean of literary templates recognized by humanity.

Language Without Borders

As our notable creators may have noticed, we are adopting a multilingual approach for all encyclopedia materials, as well as the literature collection we are sharing with people worldwide.

In our commitment to every single work of art, the world should be granted access to the pearls of art you propose. We provide equal opportunities for speakers of all languages, ensuring that everyone on this planet who has the ability to appreciate the art of the word can enjoy and be impressed by your work.

As for all contestants' prose, upon the acceptance of a work submitted to a specific competition, every piece is translated into all 15 languages we support.

All of the above regarding the linguistic strategy of the Shosocial literature competition leads to one simple conclusion:

No matter which language your art was written in, we offer equality by removing linguistic barriers. Only the art itself plays the vital role in becoming a world treasure, ensuring that the work truly deserves its reward.

For clarity, let us once again declare the supported languages for all works we currently accept:

English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, Polish, Ukrainian, Czech, Lithuanian, Estonian, Latvian, Finnish, Korean, and Japanese.

You may use stylistic variations, such as Victorian English, or any historically well-established standards with their specific vocabulary and other norms of the epoch you choose for your style.

Competition Categories and Regulations

The literature competition is organized into specific categories. Each category maintains its own rules, rights, and standards. Consequently, if a submitted work does not meet the requirements of its assigned category, it will be disqualified before the committee begins the evaluation process.

Once you have declared your participation in a category, switching to another is not possible. If you have chosen a category in error, your only option is to start a new entry for the correct one. However, the mistakenly chosen category will remain open to you for future participation. If you choose to skip participation in that category now and enter a different one, the original category entry will be 'frozen' and remain available for your submission during any of the next three competition cycles.

The general rules of the evaluation are described in detail. To read them, please visit the general evaluation rules page.

Competition's General Evaluation Regulations

Competition Fees and Maintenance

To underscore the seriousness of the writer's approach to participating in our competitions, each work submitted requires a fee. Fees are established per work, and only a single work may be accepted for the specific competition for which it is intended.

Fees are collected upon entry to the competition, at the stage of declaring participation while the competition is open for submissions.

Once payment is successful, the author will be granted access to the work creation interface.

A creative works panel is available in test mode for everyone to understand the writing processes we have designed for creators.

There is no option for uploading files. This restriction is intended to prevent participants from attempting to submit non-original content. Additionally, we employ anti-AI-generated content algorithms during the very first evaluation stage.

The participation fee for all of our prose art contests is $15 USD for the 2026–2027 period.
